The popular Normand’s Bistro is located within the Citadel, across from the Box Office, with an entrance on 99 Street and another inside the building. This gourmet bistro includes a spacious dining room, lounge, and outdoor patio (weather permitting). It’s the perfect spot to enjoy dinner before a performance, or to indulge in a dessert and nightcap afterwards. Normand’s is open late on show nights, with reduced hours in summer.
There are many fantastic restaurants and cafes in downtown Edmonton, most within walking distance of the Citadel. For your convenience and enjoyment, there are also great options located inside the building.
Caffeine lovers, rejoice! There is a Second Cup in Citadel Theatre, located in Lee Pavilion on the main floor. Serving coffee, tea, smoothies, bottled water, and more, this popular spot includes ample seating for anyone looking for a pre-show treat. Please note that beverages and food, with the exception of the bottled water sold by the ushers, are not allowed inside the Shoctor or Maclab theatres. Normal Second Cup hours are 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with hours extended on show nights.
Located in the southeast corner of the Citadel Theatre building, Vicki’s offers delicious daily breakfast and lunch options, including bagels, omelets, salads, burgers, flatbreads, sandwiches, and pizzas. They also do catering for groups of six to 10 people, with custom orders available upon request. Vicki’s is open Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
