Last summer, Ruth and her family moved to Edmonton from the U.K. Theatre credits include: Richard III, The Winter’s Tale (Northern Broadsides U.K. Tour), Les Misérables (U.K. Tour), Sweeney Todd, David Copperfield (Manchester), Blonde Bombshells of 1943 (Hampstead Theatre, London), Macbeth, and Hamlet (Liverpool). On television she appeared as a recurring character on Coronation Street. She was also a regular member of the BBC Radio Drama team. She is thrilled to be making her Canadian debut on the Shoctor stage.

Benjamin Camenzuli is a multi-talented singer, actor, and musician. He recently performed in Juke Box Hero, a new musical featuring the songs of Foreigner. Past credits include Grease (Roger, Irregular Productions) in Toronto in two companies. Other credits include Once (Swing and Sveç, Mirvish Productions and Neptune Theatre Company); Heart of Steel (Next Stage Festival); and South Pacific (Luther Bills, Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre). Benjamin would like to thank The Talent House, his family, his dog Daisy, and his wonderful girlfriend Kaley. Benjamin is a graduate of Oklahoma City University.

Christina is an Associate Artist with Firepot Performance and is currently pursuing further education in expressive art therapies and education. She is a graduate of The Canadian College of Performing Arts.

He has just returned from the Edinburgh Fringe where he directed Operation EVAsion produced by his company, Firefly Theatre. Later this season he will appear in Matilda.

Alexa “Lexi” Zhang is pleased to debut her acting career as the youngest cast member in the Citadel’s production of Once as Ivanka. She is an accomplished dancer, pianist, and singer, and is best known for her stellar singing performance in the 2018 Chinese New Year Ceremony with an audience of 800 people. Other notable achievements include figure skating competitions and a spectacular downhill skiing performance. Lexi is grateful to her parents and her sister Ally for their tremendous support.

Matthew Skopyk is an Edmonton-based sound designer and composer. Dorian Lang is an MFA Directing candidate at the University of Alberta where he most recently staged Medea and True West. Raised in Edmonton, Dorian has spent the last ten years creating theatre in Halifax. Dorian directed award winning productions of A Story of a Sinking Man (Shot in the Dark Theatre) and Spirits (Up the Hill Productions). Dorian has also been seen on stage in Shakespeare by the Sea’s productions of Pinocchio, As You Like It, and King Lear.

David holds an MFA in performance from York University. He is a Professor in the Drama Department at the University of Alberta where he teaches Voice and Speech, Dialects, and Acting. He spent ten seasons as a Voice Coach at Canada’s Stratford Festival and continues to be a regular instructor in Stratford’s Birmingham Conservatory. He has done numerous feature newspaper interviews commenting on dialects and vocal performance and has been featured in two CBC documentaries on Canadian speech. His “Three minutes toa Proper British Dialect” video has been seen over a million times on YouTube.
