He’s BACK. Farren Timoteo returns with Made in Italy – a raucous coming of age story about an Italian teenager growing up in Jasper in the 1970s, caught between two worlds and determined to make his mark. Filled with great songs (Italian and Disco!) and delicious comedy, this is a not-to-be-missed tale about a kid with the heart of Rocky Balboa and the moves (and hair) of John Travolta.

    Farren is an Edmonton-based writer, director and actor. His acting credits include Shakespeare in Love (Citadel/RMTC); Peter and the Starcatcher, Alice Through the Looking-Glass, Spamalot (Citadel Theatre); The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Western Canada Theatre); Forever Plaid, Little Shop of Horrors (Mayfield Dinner Theatre); As You Like ItCoriolanus (Freewill Shakespeare Festival); The Light in the Piazza (Theatre Calgary); and Waiting for Godot (Wishbone Theatre).

    Farren is the Artistic Director of Alberta Opera, a company for which he has created several musical adaptations of classic fairytales for children, including Hansel and Gretel, Pinocchio, and Sleeping Beauty. Farren has been acknowledged by The Sterling Awards on many occasions, most notably for his performance in Spamalot and his direction of Pinocchio. In 2015, Farren was included in Avenue Magazine’s list of Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40, celebrating the city’s most promising young leaders. Following this production, he will tour Made in Italy to Winnipeg, and Gananoque.

    Daryl is the Artistic Director of the Citadel Theatre. His directing credits include Shakespeare in Love (Citadel/Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre); As You Like It (Bard on the Beach); Matilda (Citadel/RMTC/Arts Club); Mary Poppins, Les Misérables, Peter and the Starcatcher,Liberation Days (Western Canada Theatre); Tribes (Canadian Stage); And All For Love (National Arts Centre); Generous (Tarragon); and Afterplay (Shaw Festival). Daryl’s work has been nominated for Dora Awards (Toronto), Betty Awards (Calgary), SATA Awards (Saskatoon), and Jessie Awards and Ovation Awards (Vancouver). He has been awarded the Canada Council's John Hirsch Prize for Outstanding Emerging Theatre Director, the Toronto Theatre Emerging Artist Award, and a Robert Merritt Award for Outstanding Director (Halifax).

    Cory Sincennes is an international scenic and production designer. His set, costume, and lighting designs have been seen throughout Canada, Europe and Russia. He has garnered both national and international recognition for his design work and is establishing himself as “someone to watch” in design for live performance. Beginning his education in Ontario, Cory earned a degree in Architectural Studies from Carleton University before studying design at Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto. In the Fall of 2010, he received his MFA in Theatre Design from the University of Alberta. Outside theatre, Cory continues to enjoy work as a Freelance Stylist, Visual Merchandiser, Event Designer for various companies and events, both large and small. He currently resides in Charlottetown, PEI.

    Cindy has been Head of Wardrobe at Western Canada Theatre since 2003. Select costume designs with WCT include Meet My Sister, GLORY, Million Dollar Quartet, Made in Italy, Don’t Dress For Dinner, Closer Than Ever, Dreary and Izzy, Never Shoot a Stampede Queen, A Christmas Story, A Christmas Carol, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.     Mamma Mia!, Shakespeare in Love, West Side Story, Spamalot (Citadel Theatre); Next to Normal (Citadel/Theatre Calgary); original musicals Vigilante, Nevermore, Hunchback, Frankenstein, and Fortune Falls (Catalyst Theatre); Enron (NAC); Chicago, and Jesus Christ Superstar (The Mayfield); Rich, and Rapa Nui (MTYP); Home is a Beautiful Word, I Think I’m Fallin’, and Spelling Bee, (Belfry Theatre). Laura also created a full-length movement ballet of The Yellow Wallpaper for the Chinook Series and co-curated the Feats Festival of Dance. She has guest taught for Canadian College of Performing Arts, choreographing The Penelopiad, Cabaret and Spring Awakening for their Company C. Awards include four Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Awards, a Betty Mitchell Award and a Lucille Lortel nomination for the Off-Broadway run of Nevermore. Enjoy the show!

    Conor Moore is a lighting/set/video designer based in Vancouver. He completed his undergraduate Theatre degree at Queen's University, followed by an MFA in Theatre Design at UBC. Select credits include The Competition is Fierce, The Pipeline Project, Wet (ITSAZOO); Peter and the Starcatcher, Me and You, Bakersfield Mist, 4000 Miles, Armstrong's War, The Patron Saint of Stanley Park (Arts Club Theatre); La Bohème (Vancouver Opera); Senora Carrara's Rifles, Fourplay (Shaw Festival); Hamlet, Falstaff, Henry VI, Richard III, The Merchant of Venice (Bard on the Beach); In a Blue Moon (Western Canada Theatre); Gunmetal Blues (Vancouver Playhouse); Penelope, Indian Arm, Tremors (Rumble Theatre); and Baby Fat Act I (La Mama). He is a board member of the Associated Designers of Canada and a core member of the Vancouver Design Forum. He is currently completing an MA in Labour Studies and Sociology at SFU, studying the organization of Canadian theatre designers.

    Mishelle is a composer, sound designer, and musician based in Vancouver. Some favourite past projects include The Matchmaker, Sweat (Arts Club); Hir, The Events (Pi); Lysistrata (Bard on the Beach); Titus Bouffonius, Penelope (Rumble); Wet, Killer Joe (ITSAZOO); Jabber (Green Thumb/Neworld) and STATIONARY (Delinquent). Next up: The Candidate, The Party (Citadel); Dead People’s Things (Zee Zee); and Shakespeare in Love (Bard on the Beach). Mishelle is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and of UBC.
