EDMONTON’S FAVOURITE YULETIDE TRADITION IS BACK FOR A 17TH SEASON!
A Christmas Carol
Adapted by Tom Wood
Based on the story by Charles Dickens
Directed by Bob Baker
A Christmas Carol tells the story of bitter old miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, and his transformation into a gentler, kinder man after visitations by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley, as well as Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. Don’t miss this heartwarming Christmas tradition!
As always, donations for Edmonton’s Food Bank will be accepted at every performance. Edmonton’s Food Bank is a charitable organization, raising food and funds from our community for our community. Can by can, dollar by dollar. To date, the Citadel has helped to raise a whopping $940,749.60. Capital Power, a proud supporter of Citadel Theatre and Edmonton’s Food Bank, will match these donations up to $20,000. Donate what you can this holiday season – every little bit helps!
Food Bank Update: As of December 31, 2016 we have collected $83,110.50, from our generous audiences in addition to food items, plus a $20,000 matching donation from Capital Power, for a total of $103,110.50 in 2016.
