Young Theatre Production Company applications are being accepted until September 1, 2011.

The Citadel Theatre Young Companies offer an advanced training and mentorship program for aspiring artist between the ages of 16-21 who are serious about pursuing post-secondary education and a career in theatre.

The Citadel Theatre believes that young people are integral to the artistic fabric of our community.  As such, we are committed to programming and initiatives that develop their creative voices and encourage their participation.

In addition to training, members participate in specialized workshops with a variety of leading theatre professionals including members of the Citadel/Banff Centre Professional Theatre Program. Their training culminates in performances for the Acting, Musical  and Theatre Production Companies, and staged readings for the Young Playwrights.
