Stamina, Strength and Agility of Body, Mind and Heart

The Citadel Theatre Young Companies is an advanced training and mentorship program for aspiring artists between the ages of 16-21 who are serious about pursuing post-secondary education and a career in theatre.

There are four Companies offering specialized training in:  Acting, Musical Theatre, Playwriting and Theatre Production. In addition to training, members of the Young Companies have the opportunity to participate in specialized workshops with a variety of leading theatre professionals, resident and guest artists  and members of the Citadel/Banff Centre Professional Theatre Program.  Their training culminates in performances for the acting and musical companies, and staged readings for the young playwrights. The young technical theatre production company works on both of these events.
