Hearing Enhancement Headsets (Shoctor Theatre)

We offer headsets free of charge to patrons with hearing difficulties. Ask at the coat check near the theatre. You must leave your government issued license as a deposit until the headset is returned at the end of the performance.

T-coil Loop (Maclab Theatre)

The Maclab Theatre features an audio loop for individuals with reduced ranges of hearing. The loops carry baseband audio-frequency currents; no carrier signal is used. This allows the performance on stage to be transmitted to the hearing-impaired listener clearly and free of other distracting noise in the environment. Receivers for the audio loop system can be found at coat check, and can be used with any stereo headset. Guests may bring their own headset or borrow a pair of our headsets or earbuds, free of charge. You must leave your government issued ID as a deposit until the receiver and/or headset is returned at the end of the performance.

Wheelchair Access

Our theatres are accessible for wheelchair patrons. There are a limited number of wheelchair positions in each theatre. Please inform our Box Office of your specific needs when booking or exchanging your tickets, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. If you are driving to the Citadel and parking in the underground parkade beneath the building, park in P2 North for access to the elevator.
