Pay What You Can Sundays
The Citadel Theatre’s Pay-What-You-Can Sunday Program provides the experience of some of the best live theatre available for those who cannot always afford even our lowest ticket prices.
Any unsold tickets are made available on a Pay What You Can basis.
Anyone wishing to purchase tickets for a Pay What You Can performance will receive a numbered wristband which will allow them to purchase one ticket. (One wristband equals one ticket). Wristbands will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis, one per person, beginning at 3 PM the day of the performance. Patrons must come in person to the Citadel Theatre Box Office to receive a wristband.
Patrons with wristbands are to return to the Box Office by 6:30 PM to redeem their wristband for a ticket. Patrons will be placed in numerical order prior to the start of Pay What You Can sales.
If you have any questions or require further information, please contact the Box Office at 780-425-1820.
Please see featured dates below.
The suggested minimum is $5 for plays in the Rice Series, $10 for Mainstage plays and $20 for The Drowsy Chaperone, Sweeney Todd and Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
In conjunction with this program, the Citadel Theatre is encouraging regular patrons to bring in a donation for Edmonton's Food Bank to these Sunday performances.
