The Maclab Theatre is located in the tropical Lee Pavilion, at the base of our spectacular indoor waterfall. The Theatre has a thrust stage, with 12 rows of seats set in a “U” around the stage. Because of the intimate layout, many people are surprised that this holds The Citadel’s largest audience, accommodating 682 people.
Perfect for any event where the audience and on-stage personnel interact (awards ceremonies, hair shows, variety shows), the Maclab also boasts excellent accessibility for patrons in wheelchairs.

NOTE: The Citadel Theatre operates under a Collective Agreement with IATSE Local 210.
It is advisable to discuss your technical requirements with our Production staff early in your planning. Most rentals will require three technicians (lights, sound, stage).
