For advanced and dedicated students, this is a unique opportunity to hone your acting skills this summer. Running alongside each other, these two-week courses in Musical Theatre and Acting offer the chance to rehearse and learn from experienced theatre professionals. Both courses conclude with an afternoon performance in the Citadel’s Rice Theatre.

*IMPORTANT: Online registration is not available for these two camps. Spots will be offered first to members of the Foote Theatre School’s Young Musical Company and the Teen Acting Company. After that, registration will be by application only. To apply, please fill out the Registration Form Participants will be notified of acceptance by June 2, 2008. Anyone not offered a place in the Intensives will be offered a spot in another teen camp. |

Theatre Explorer • Ages 6 – 7 |

| A fun-filled introduction to the world of theatre. Each day will involve a new style of dramatic play such as mask, storytelling, mime or improvisation. You will also have the chance to work on simple props and costumes and to perform for family and friends on Friday! | ||
Musical Mayhem • Ages 6 – 7 |
||
| Song and dance — fun and games. An exciting week of music and dramatic play with songs, movement, mask, puppetry and storytelling. The week concludes with a special performance for friends and family. | ||
Drama Adventure • Ages 8 – 10 |
||
| Eager to explore the world of theatre? Every day, your experienced instructor will introduce you to a different performance style such as improv, mime, masks or scene study all in preparation for your performance on Friday. | ||
Musical Theatre • Ages 8 – 10, 11 – 12, 13 – 16 |

| Welcome to the world of musicals! Here is your opportunity to spend a week learning all about musical theatre — sing, act and dance! Two experienced musical theatre professionals will help you prepare for a Friday afternoon performance that will dazzle your friends and family! | ||
Playmaking & Performing • Ages 11 – 12, 13 – 15 |

| The chance to create and perform your own script! You and your fellow classmates will develop exciting characters and stories using improvisation and playwriting. Your short play will receive its world premiere in front of an invited audience on Friday afternoon. | ||
Comedy & Laughter • Ages 10 – 12 |

| Madness and mayhem, and plenty of laughs! Join our talented instructor for a week of exploring comedy in all forms — clowning, improvisation, sketches, songs and more. You’ll spend the week creating your own comic performance to present to family and friends on Friday afternoon. | ||

Foote Theatre School Payment and Cancellation policies
Payment must be received at the time of registration in order to hold a place in the camp.
Requests for a refund must be in writing and addressed to the Foote Theatre School or emailed to theatreschool@citadeltheatre.com. Cancellations 7 days or less before your first day will receive a full refund less a $50.00 handling fee. No refunds are available after that time.
The Foote Theatre School reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient enrolment. In that event, a full refund will be provided or we will try to place the student in another class.
Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis (with the exception of classes open only by audition or application). Once a class is full, registrants will be placed on a waiting list in the order they are received.
All Theatre School classes are age and skill specific. Please read the age limits carefully, and choose the correct class. Any exceptions to age limits or application procedures must be approved by the Theatre School Director.
