rock and robes

Now in its fifth year, Rock ‘n‘ Robes is an annual charity battle of the bands, with performances from members of Edmonton’s legal community and all proceeds benefiting organizations that support and empower Edmonton’s youth at risk. Please join us on April 8th, 2017 at The Club for a night of music and mingling, knowing you’re contributing to fabulous local organizations.

About our parntner charities:
Free Footie helps thousands of kids in Edmonton who would otherwise not have the chance play soccer, ensuring that any girls or boys in Grades 3-6 attending schools in Free Footie’s served areas can play with no registration fees or need for equipment. The essence of Free Footie has been to give children a positive, structured place to learn. For many kids, this is a break from a stressful home life, to stay off the streets, and get onto the playing field where their energy and ambitions can be directed in positive ways. Since 1997, iHuman has empowered at-risk youth through an award-winning combination of social support, engagement and outreach. Money raised through Rock ‘n’ Robes will be contributed to LiNKS, a unique youth mental health clinic created by iHuman in collaboration with youth, counselors, and Justice Canada. LiNKS provides a space for youth to come and share their stories, get connected with services or other medical supports, feel supported through groups, learn coping skills and tools to engage more effectively in the community.
